We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support the US business development of a European high-tech
manufacturer of interior design products. The position is based in New York City.

The Inside Sales Representative will join the US team of a worldwide leader in its field. The company has gained a
significant competitive edge thanks to patented interior design products, ongoing R&D, and a unique production
facility. It has gained a solid client-base abroad and is expanding into the US market.

The position:

The Inside Sales Representative will support the business development effort of the sales team. His/ her
responsibilities will include:

• Introduce company and its products to new leads (architectural firms, interior designers, agents)
• Respond to requests for proposals
• Find the most appropriate response to architect design’s needs within company’s portfolio and solutions (good mix of design, creativity and technical understanding)
• Optimize relationship between sales director and prospects/ clients (architects, designers, contractors)
• Coordination, meeting management, follow-up with architects/designers and contractors

Required experience:

• Proven interest / experience in commercial or residential interior design or architecture
• Developed blueprints and drafted creative design options, moved clients from vision to reality
• Bachelor degree in architecture or interior design, or education in a related field a plus
• Experience in interior building products
• Minimum 2 years experience

Required skills:

• Creative and design oriented
• Listening skills and ability to understand architects’ and interior designers’ needs and to read architectural drawings
• Relentless, enthusiastic , able to think positively, and results driven
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient on Microsoft Office (Excel) and Mac
• Professional software and all office software skills (CAD, especially Reed project tracking)
• Excellent verbal and written skills (French as a second language a plus)
• Superior presentation skills and ability to stand out
